It was founded to assist and empower community members to identify and utilize the locally available resources towards relieving endemic poverty in Kenya. Forum Kenya Development Foundation aims to assist and empower community members to use the resources available to them to alleviate poverty in Kenya. They do this through training and workshops that teach community members how to start small-scale businesses and create sustainable sources of income. By promoting self-sufficiency and sustainable development, the organization aims to help communities break out of the cycle of poverty and achieve long-term prosperity.
