Transforming Communities

Forum Kenya’s Education and Training Programs

Forum Kenya has partnered with well-wishers to provide access to resources that can help the needy members of society. The organization also supports self-help groups, which are groups of people who come together to help each other out in times of need.
The Forum Kenya team works hard to educate and train these individuals on saving and investing for poverty eradication. They do this by providing them with information about how they can save money, start businesses, get loans from banks or other financial institutions (FIs), etc., so that they can improve their lives and live more comfortably than before.

The Impact of Forum Kenya’s Efforts

  • Increased living standards
  • Improved financial access
  • Created jobs for members

Forum Kenya’s Commitment to Empowerment

Forum Kenya is committed to empowering its beneficiaries by providing access to capital and technical assistance, offering micro-loans with flexible repayment terms, mentorship and training.
Forum Kenya’s commitment has been recognized by stakeholders who have supported our work through donations of land, equipment and tools for our projects as well as cash donations which have been used for funding operations costs or paying back loans taken out by our clients.

Forum Kenya’s Education and Training Programs

Forum Kenya is a non-profit organization that has been working in Kenya since 2015. We provide educational opportunities through scholarships, training in business management and entrepreneurship, mentoring and guidance on saving and investing. Our aim is to help our beneficiaries achieve financial independence through education, skills development and access to capital.
We have partnered with several organizations including the UNDP (United Nations Development Program), SIDA (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) as well as private companies such as Safaricom Ltd., Barclays Bank PLC., KCB Group Holdings Limited among others who have generously donated funds towards our projects which include:

  • A scholarship program offering grants for children from poor backgrounds who cannot afford school fees or uniforms;
  • Training programs aimed at equipping young people with employable skills so they can earn an income;
  • A savings scheme where members save small amounts each month into an account managed by Forum Kenya staff members who will then assist them when they want to make withdrawals later on;

Forum Kenya’s Enlightening Initiatives

Forum Kenya has organized a number of seminars and workshops on poverty eradication, financial literacy and money management. These enlightening initiatives have helped our members to understand the importance of saving and investing in order to eradicate poverty. We also encourage them to invest in small businesses or start-ups so that they can earn extra income which will enable them to support their families as well as contribute towards eradicating poverty in their communities.

The Benefits of Forum Kenya’s Programs

The Forum Kenya program is designed to help people gain financial independence. It does so by providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to manage their money effectively, thus allowing them to build better lives for themselves and their families.
Benefits of Forum Kenya’s Programs:

  • Financial independence
  • Improved living standards
  • Creation of jobs and businesses

The Challenges Faced by Forum Kenya

The challenges faced by Forum Kenya are as follows:

  • Limited resources: The organization is operating on a shoestring budget and needs to raise funds to continue its operations. It also requires more volunteers who can assist in training beneficiaries, and people willing to donate used computers and other office equipment.
  • Lack of awareness: Many people do not understand the importance of saving money or investing it wisely for long-term benefits, which means that they end up spending all their earnings on unnecessary things like alcohol or tobacco instead of putting them in a bank account where they will earn interest over time. This leads us back to our first point about raising awareness among these groups so that they know what options are available when it comes time for them to save money or invest it wisely!
