1. Introduction

By accessing or participating in any Forum Kenya services, programs, or platforms, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. Forum Kenya Development Foundation reserves the right to update or revise these terms at any time.

2. Eligibility

Forum Kenya services are open to:

  • Kenyan residents aged 18 and above
  • Registered self-help groups (SHGs), CBOs, and organized community groups
  • Individuals willing to commit to our values of integrity, accountability, and community empowerment

3. Use of Services

All participants must:

  • Provide accurate personal and group information
  • Attend training and empowerment sessions as scheduled
  • Use funds (loans, grants, resources) responsibly and for approved purposes
  • Abide by group rules and Forum Kenya’s Code of Conduct

4. Loans & Financial Programs

Participants in savings and loan programs agree to:

  • Repay loans in the agreed-upon timeframe
  • Accept responsibility as guarantors where applicable
  • Follow financial guidelines as outlined during orientation
  • Understand that failure to comply may affect group standing or future participation

5. Code of Conduct

All participants, staff, and partners must:

  • Uphold respect, honesty, and non-discrimination
  • Protect the dignity and privacy of others
  • Refrain from any form of corruption, harassment, or misuse of resources

6. Data Protection & Privacy

Forum Kenya values your privacy. We collect and store personal data only for service delivery, group management, and reporting. We do not sell or share your data with third parties without your consent.

7. Suspension or Termination

Forum Kenya reserves the right to suspend services or remove participants who:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraud, dishonesty, or disruptive behavior
  • Endanger the safety or dignity of others

8. Liability

Forum Kenya is not liable for losses resulting from misuse of services, group disputes, or failure to follow guidelines. Participants are encouraged to seek clarification when needed.
